Enjoy a brisk winter hike designed just for homeschoolers ages 10 and up! As we explore the frosty trails, we’ll weave in practical survival tips and tricks—from how to layer for warmth to identifying shelter spots and reading animal tracks. This hands-on adventure blends nature observation with outdoor preparedness, giving students a chance to build confidence and curiosity in Iowa’s winter landscape. Dress for the weather and get ready to learn while we walk.
